Xinyu Wang is an architecture student working between structure, material and public life.

A senior in the BFA Architectural Design program at Parsons School of Design in New York (b. 2004).

Xinyu’s projects start from a specific place and a specific time of day, and test ideas through models, drawings and simple simulations: where the sun falls at four in the afternoon, how a cart folds, how light reaches a corridor three floors down.

The projects here range from studio buildings to an interactive installation, a speculative city and an urban plan for Porto. Read together, they are a record of learning to build with light, structure and public life.
